Using this site

You are welcome to read, print and share anything here for your own trip planning. You may not republish substantial parts of it elsewhere, or use it to train a model, without permission.

Accuracy

Every journey on this site is researched and dated, and each page shows the month it was last checked. Ireland changes anyway: boats stop running, roads close, prices move, and businesses shut without telling anyone.

Treat everything here as a well-informed starting point, not a guarantee. Before you rely on any opening time, price, ferry sailing or road being passable, check it with the operator. This matters most for anything weather-dependent. Skellig Michael landings, cliff cruises and mountain passes are cancelled routinely.

Bookings and third parties

This site does not sell anything and takes no bookings. Where we recommend a tour, a ferry or a place to stay, your contract is with that operator and their terms, cancellation policy and refunds apply. We would still like to hear if a recommendation here turned out badly.

The site currently carries no advertising and no affiliate links. If that changes, it will be labelled on every page that carries it and described on the about page.

Liability

Travel involves risk, and some of what this site describes carries more of it than average: coastal walks, mountain roads, swimming in the Atlantic. You are responsible for your own safety and your own judgement about conditions on the day. We accept no liability for loss, injury or expense arising from use of this site.

Images and data

Photographs are used under licence and credited beneath each image. The coastline in our maps derives from Natural Earth, which is public domain, and the Dublin city map from OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database Licence. If you believe an image here is used incorrectly, tell us and we will remove it while we check.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland.
